Java / J2EE Programmers

Position Description:

Looking to work on J2EE without the management-dictated over-bloated app-servers? Know the difference between JDO,
BMP2 and ODMG? Want to work with the latest on the server-side? This may be the job for you.

We`re looking for two more programmers to join a small team of experienced Java developers working on advanced server
systems.

You`ll never learn so much so fast. It`s all Java, all server side, working right at the edge of J2EE. You report directly to the
CTO. No suits, no ties, no paper work, just coders managed by coders.

We`re looking for one experienced programmer (3+ years minimum) and one junior (1+ year – but ready for anything).

What you need:

- A sense of humour (no really we mean it).
- Excellent communications.
- Must have travelled the Java universe - from Jakarta to the Sun.
- Solid experience in Java (enough to know why you don`t need multiple inheritance anyway).
- Solid knowledge of SQL, MVC, and persistence engines (such as Hibernate).

What would be cool:

- A life-sized Tardis you can donate to the office.
- Knowledge of the Spring framework, JBoss, Resin, Tomcat, MySQL and DB2.
- Excellent skills at indoor soccer (we play on Wednesdays).
- Operations experience on Linux (server side).
- Web development (HTML/CSS/XML).

If you like this opportunity, please let me know.

Kind regards,
