здравейте!
I am an austrian student planning to study at SU for one year via the ERASMUS mobility programme. Right now I am writing my application form where I need to specify which lectures I plan to take part of. The problem is, that I don't understand how the amount of time they take are specified in the curriculum (public relations). I am used to classify lectures by how many hours per week they take, and 45 hours for "Theory of Journalism and Media" seem a bit much to me

even if I assume that this is the total amount for the whole semester (lectures that take 2 hours a week are of a total around 30 hours per semester here at Vienna University).
So my main question is: can anybody tell me how to translate these figures to something I understand? ECTS would be ok, too. And by the way, is the bulgarian academic hour also just 45 minutes or a real hour?
Another question that bothers me is if I need to register for specific classes (seminars for example), and if so, how can I do this? Via internet? Are there usually problems getting into specific classes (overcrowded, etc.)?
The last thing I would like to know for now: are there also some lessons held in english/french/german/spanish? Just in case the cultural and linguistic shock hits me too hard during the first months...
Thank you in advance for your help,
Matthias
